Lonnie Sewell I put my headphones on and listened to this in the complete dark. I am a somewhat spiritual person and take comfort in the the notion that there is always a greater being present with me. Both sides of this split were able to systematically strip that comfort away. I have never been made to feel more isolated, vulnerable, and alone. Hauntingly beautiful as well as utterly terrifying. Amazing work from both projects.

This is a collaborative effort between myself and SPELLUNKR, in which we share samples in common as well as a long form theme tying our tracks/sides together. Specifically the terror of deep space, the unknowns of the outer reaches of the universe, the contradictory stillness and horror of astronomy, and the cacophony of astrophysics.

For the FTMS side I wanted to explore the aural equivalent of passing through a singularity, using audial textures to represent the gradation that lurches from the stillness and ambience of the event horizon to the unpredictable and disjointed chaos and maelstrom of being in the eye of a black hole, pulled and twisted out of the original form and transformed into something possibly transcendent on the other side. A 20 minute travelogue attempting to document the simultaneous physical unraveling of the body, the bleakness of being swallowed chaotically by nothingness, and the ascendance of the mind after the fact.

Full Tang Myelin Sheath Seattle, Washington

Exploratory noise inspired by the industrialization of modern humanity, technological usurpation of spirituality, and loss of enlightnement.

Indebted to the likes of Mz.412, Puissance, Trepaneringsritualen, Raison D'être, and Grey Wolves while still retaining an individualist apocalyptic identity. This is less music than it is fuel for disturbed meditation.
